The Waddling Duck

The model moves itself on an inclined plane.

This is one of five models from the book "Walking Automata", published by Tarquin-Publications.

All models move by themselves down an inclined plane of 12° gradient. The mechanism consists of two feet with arched soles. The rear foot is movable, the front foot is attached to the model tightly. The centre of gravity moves between the fixed and the movable foot, and this causes a lolloping movement.
