Stormy Sea

      Size: 15.5 x 6 x 25 cm

      Crank mechanism

By turning the crank both boat and boatsman will make a cyclical movement:
The boat falls down the wave, it seems to sink but then it swims
on the top again. The sailor is lifted from his squatting position
while the seagull is sitting motionless on the top of
      the prow.

The handle moves a crank slider. The free end of the lever is fixed to the
boatman and carries out an elliptic movement: the boatman jumps up and sits
down again. Because the feet of the boatsman are sticked to the bottom of
the boat it glides back and forth on the crest of the
      wave.
