Stormy Sea - Fascinating Paper Automata

   Brake is a small town at the side of the Weser river with nearly 16000 inhabitants, half way between Bremen and Bremerhaven on the left side of the Weser. Symbol of the town is the old telegraph of 1846. The maritime museum is located in the former storage and office of the shipping company Borgstede & Becker.

In the exhibition you can see more than 200 paper automata and pop-up-books and cards of my collection. The exhibition area is 150 m². The virtual tour gives an impression of the exhibition which is divided into the following sections:
